(Rosie) The door you look through has a hallway on the other side. The roof is pretty high, and you can see that this hallway intersects with another one perpendicularly about halfway through it. The walls are lined with landscape paintings.
(Ronald) You are nearing the end of the hallway.

Suddenly becoming very aware of her situation Rosie remembers what she was taught in self defence class in school and gets the keys from her bag and holds them as makeshift knuckle dusters and continues down the hallway

(Ronald) The first thing you see is a tiled floor. You find yourself in a kitchen, with a sink, and U of cupboards and countertop to your left. To your right there is a refrigerator and a stove. Beyond that, in front of you there is another door to your right. There is also a table, and a sliding door to your left that leads to a courtyard. At the far end of the room is another door. On the countertop, there is a loaf of bread and a bread knife.
(Rosie) You advance through the hallway until you come to the intersection. Each hallway has a door at the end of it. To your right, the hallway also has two doors facing opposite. In front, there is one door on the left side of the hallway. The left hallway has no extra doors. You hear a tapping sound from somewhere far off.
((I have whited out your parts. You can still read them by highlighting them. I'd suggest only reading your own part, for immersion, but it's up to you. You will have to act as if you don't know their information anyway.))

(Ronald) You find some twine in the cupboards. It's not very strong, but you may take it anyway. There are also various cooking equipment and utensils in the drawers.
((You seem to be acting rather out of character. You are a kid who just walked into a house out of the freezing rain, and now you are constructing a spear?))

Ronald: Ronald doesn't think the twine alone would make a very durable weapon, so he clamps the knife and the stick together with tongs and ties the two end parts of the tongs together with the twine so they wouldn't fall apart as easily. He decides to check the refrigerator. |

(Rosie): The tapping is quiet. It seems to be coming from the hallway to the left. It stops. in about half a minute you hear things opening, and some clinking and rummaging. It's still not loud, but the sound of metal clinking carries pretty far.

(Ronald): The refrigerator is completely empty. The freezer compartment, on the other hand, is filled with bees, so cold that they have entered hibernation.
