Gods are inconsistent like that, yes, but it is mostly built around power, their "dominion."

In the Outside, new gods are born each day, and as such, I'm usually too busy to actively resurrect Dreamers or make deals.

Depends. Some seclude themselves or actively dislike worship, while some are always craving it. They take all sorts of forms, in the Outside.

You see, the Zones exist mainly in large "superclusters", and between these superclusters is the Outside, the remnants of Abon's empire, an endless expanse that constantly changes, where matter and color zones collide, and where no rules are consistent, save for that of the true Primordial's Dreams, which seep through every female child that is born there.

While males can also become Dreamers, you become a Dreamer usually after something terrible happens to you, or you enter the Cosmic Dust, also known as "primordial essence", as it was deemed after the fall of Abon.

Statistics have shown such terrible events are far more likely among females...

I was counting among the human children. Humans (Or similar beings) are the only creatures that can activate dreams from Traumas, and as such, if we're going to be incredibly simple about this, of the "two" (actually false) sexes, due to social discrimination among the several gray zone variants in the Outside, the female sex, is generally more likely, except in the case of transgender girls, which are much more likely to have such a trauma than even the average.

If we were to get into all the specifics among gender, orientation, and race, we'd have a field day, and I'd need to get out my whiteboard, and probably ask the Creator for help.

Were all creatures susceptible to Dreamification-By-Bad-Events, the group would have already become Dreamers a short while into their adventure int he First Slate. Instead, they need to come in contact with the cosmic dust.

No, if their consciousness persists past their death, and they are not taken by one of my Children, they will almost definitely become a Dreamer, after a while. Why do you ask?
