*Louis has wandered over to curious* Is that a talking key? Ay, Marksman, the Silver Key that leads through the Gate of Dreams, the key so many men have lost. It is wise in many things.Ah, yes... you open gates besides that of dreams. Very well; I shall create a visage of the Beast to the best of my capabilities.*On the ground, Curious begins sketching the basic outline of a squid, before adding what appears to be a slightly different angle of the same squid directly on top of the drawing, continuing until he has drawn the squid from all angles and, by the looks of it, all times simultaneously.* *A door forms, soaked with water, and the Aku Kanji has nearly melted off. There are barnacles on the door. it is a murky green.* And beyond this gate it has opened is the Beast, the purest embodiment of chaos that yet exists. Shall you fight alongside me, for the sake of the universe?

Ah..hmm *jack begins but falters still unable to come up with something comforting* before turning away to the group and mouthing "someone help me"* *Shrigul nearly collapses on top of Jack, still practically gurgling from shock* *still covered in wounds Jack struggles to hold shrigul up his legs quaking to keep himself upright before remembering he has tendrils and using those to give him an extra set of legs to stand on* There there...*jack pats her back with his chainsaw arm gently*

A horrid thing, the Beast. It is the second oldest living thing of the world, a remnant from the days when the Goddess was yet newly divided and still knew Leviathan. It is pain, disease and decay given corporeal form, and its shape is ever rippling, ever seething. Its mind is a screaming wreck of rage and despair. It has lived for innumerable ages and fed on the bodies and minds of men. It is that which was called Humbaba, Typhon, and the Giant Blue Ox, but above all it is the Beast, whose number is Six Hundred and Sixty and Six.

*Cordyceps have retreated into a corner, and is now in the foetal position, rocking back and forth and crying quietly. The Ghost sits crosslegged in the air, smoking an entirely nonexistent cigarette, perfectly relaxed.*

*Durga's eyes slowly re-manifest, her entire body a deep purple. She gets up slowly and jerkily, seemingly too out of it to control her illusory body in a fluid lifelike manner. Her first order of business upon getting upright is checking on the remaining two spiderbabbies*
