Then one day the government set up a trip to the neiboring habited planets so that the speices could survive. but the piolet was infected and started an infection on those planets. It spread until every living thing in the zone was infected. then it mutated to become self aware. to this day they say that if you give those beings the power to travel through zones that it will infect everything!

Then for a moment nothing happened. They were about to give up..." Thunder crackled. "Then suddenly they screamed awfully as their brains melted out of their ears, causing a slick black ooze-like puddle to sickenly ooze out. The puddle oozed its way to the discarded organ-disposal bin and formed into a girl barely 13 years of age. It was called Salenghar and it hungered. It ate all of the organs in that dustbin and then scuttled off into the dark corridors, where it lies. Waiting for a foolish human doctor to come its way. Yes, they summoned... I."
