*Davar lets out a loud whine, like a dog who had it's tail stepped on, then after landing, sprints as fast a possible away from there* The creature is very slow and only gives chase for about ten seconds, snapping a few trees and making a great ruckus all the while. Eventually it stops and settles down, it's scaly hide blending in pretty well with the surrounding snow, soon to be even harder to spot when the snow begins covering it's back. You are safe for now. Lizzie is scared big things usually want to eat her, or fight her and she isnt happy with either of those options! in fear she sheds most of her body to make herself as small as possible and hides in a shadowed corner wrapping herself up tight in her tendrils STEALTH SECTION ACTIVATED As the human walks in, he's holding a flashlight and a broom. He places a lid over the grill and peeks into the chimney using the flashlight. "Darned raccoons..." He turns around and enters some kind of walk-in freezer, getting a package of frozen meat. On the way back, however, he notices the shed limbs and places the meat down on a nearby counter. "What the heck?" He begins poking them with the handle of the broom. His back is currently to your hiding place. Abokist changes his Blade a razor sharp dagger, enough to presumably jam in, and then remotely into an anchor, and throws it at the beast, attaching a long medical hose from his chest vault first. It lands perfectly square between the beast's shoulderblades and stays there. It doesn't even flinch, still occupied with Grabber. *The Grabber does what it does best. Lunges. At extreme speed, and attempting to bisect the rather thin and gangly creature with the first strike, as is their favoured form of attack.* Success! You cut the brute fairly cleanly in half and it drops like a fucking rock. It has no visible blood and it's entrails seem to be made of some sort of keratin. It's gills leak a sticky clear fluid. Oh and also it's still very much alive. The fluid becomes somewhat thicker and drags the severed body parts together and the creature's body seems to repair itself. It stands up and sluggishly swipes at Grabber once more, knocking a hole in the ceiling. Bill attempts to shoot the stalked eyes. His hands do not shake. You destroy the upper eye, but the thing flinches and you miss the lower eye. It lets out a horrendous screech and Bill's body is wracked with pain. The star-shaped being continues floating towards you, it's body rotates and the lower eye moves to the top. The hands shift and structurally rearrange to fit this, becoming right side up. The Warin, now with a more humanoid figure, jumps out of Moe and attempts to pull the gun out of the friend's hands. Moe is bleeding out. You manage to yank the gun out of the surprised camper's hands. In a panic, he flees, leaving his comrade for dead and sprinting off after the other camper who left to get help. Some sort of massive serpentine... thing seems float in from the trees. It's cloaked in the mist and it's features are fairly hard to make out, though it's obvious the searchlight-like beams are coming from it's eyes, of which it seems to have many. It's completely silent as it moves, ignoring you and searching the cooler. The parasites flitter away. It nudges the cooler with some sort of tendril, and then seemingly envelops it, spitting it out a few short moments later. It slowly turns and examines you, it's 'head' roughly the size of a BAAAARRRGE decently large boat. Bill runs at the creature and tries to jump onto it. |

*I am still growing in the ground* The creature gets close, but not close enough for you to make out any of it's features beyond the thick fog. Suddenly and without warning, there is a sound of rustling from a nearby bush. It's a very unfortunate deer, which immediately flees upon seeing the scene. The creature slowly gives chase, the mist fading and the light returning as if disappears into the forest. Lizzie is scared of the big thing and is shivering and is barely stifling these noises. when a shed limb is poked it sets off the volatile blood packet in the base of it causing it to jet around randomly spraying blood You don't know why, but you get the feeling that someone somewhere is saying "HOLY CRAP"The human stumbles backwards in surprise, almost tripping. He calls out to someone. "Gladys! Get the shotgun!" Within a few seconds, a squat woman with a shotgun appears in the kitchen, helping the man search around THE STAKES HAVE BEEN RAISED! Abokist changes his weapon in a buzzsaw, and remotely drags it across the beast. He speaks. Hey! If you want this to be dealt with, I need you to immediately separate the body parts once I get rid of them! That ways we can scatter them in multiple spots across the region!

It would be unfortunate if you couldn't!!The beast finally notices you, and sluggishly swings a claw in your direction. *The Grabber slices off an arm, and antennae rush out and cover the appendage, briefly, before retracting back into the Grabber, which then backs off quickly* The arm wriggles about like a fish, it's claw snapping. When it goes still, the stump left behind begins to slowly form a new arm. Warin takes aim, and shoots itself in the chest. It's now on the ground, writhing in pain. Not the brightest creature, it. The first human who left who left is now impossible to try and catch up with. the second one can still possibly be intercepted. The human in the tent also writhes around in pain. Belligerent fool! At least try and eat the thing!! *The Grabber hisses at the creature, rising up and displaying a surprisingly brightly coloured underbelly, whilst flaps on its body widen out, like wings, attempting to tempt a strike from the thing.* The big fucking doofus falls for it and turns it's attention away from abokist to swing at you with it's normal arm, the other one still regenerating. Bill runs at the creature and tries to jump onto it. Big mistake! One of the creature's arms shoots out and grips one of Bill's shoulders tight enough to cause bruising. It's eyes follow the flung organs, but it doesn't make a move for them. - On the ground near Litany, a single tiny creature crawls about. It's about the size of a ladybug and has five legs. Four to the sides and one where a head might be on any other creature. It's body is black and covered with durable chitinous plates, with the exception of it's tail, which is long, smooth, and lined with tiny fiber-like needles. It has two long insect-like wings, one of which seems to be injured, thus forcing it to crawl. *The Grabber dashes down the wall, and lunges at the thing's leg, whilst their only useable arm is already mid swing.* The leg is easily sliced off and the creature once again drops like a waffle stood on it's edge. It makes an attempt to get up. It's lower eyes roll back in their sockets and it's mouth opens wide... Don't worry. Your aim will probably improve. In the meantime though, a butterfly lands on you. Something feels off about it though... Warin quickly recovers, and goes back to eating the person in the tent. It attempt to kill them first. They struggle, punching and kicking at you, but eventually the stress and the loss of blood causes them to keel over. The second human who ran off is now also out of range. Lizzie looks for any possible escape routes the big things seem angry but she doesnt know why to reduce visibility even more she sheds all but her head and now uses her tendrils to move around and is so slightly faster There is a possible escape route either through a window at the other end of the room, or through the door that the humans came in from, though that just leads further into this place. The human female is checking some cabinets and her back is to you. The human male wields his fearsome broom and nervously peeks into a nearby bucket. The walk-in freezer door is still wide open. Bill feels something crawl up his throat, and his mouth is forced open. There is a whining sound, and something strikes out at the creature. It attempts to burrow into the creature and tear it apart from the inside. The creature's flesh is like hard rubber and nearly impossible to burrow through, though it flinches and the tendrils holding Bills eyes open dart away. It does not let go of Bill, but the eye stalk breaks eye contact, and that is enough to relive the pain and metallic taste just a bit. *Davar begins the search for food again. He starts looking for prey in the forest near the asylum.* It's a long way between Davar's location and the Asylum. Along the way, you see the wall surrounding the town. There's something unusual on top of the wall, but it doesn't seem important. You can either check it out or continue along. |

The human female is checking some cabinets and her back is to you. The human male wields his fearsome broom and nervously peeks into a nearby bucket. The walk-in freezer door is still wide open. Bill feels something crawl up his throat, and his mouth is forced open. There is a whining sound, and something strikes out at the creature. It attempts to burrow into the creature and tear it apart from the inside. The creature's flesh is like hard rubber and nearly impossible to burrow through, though it flinches and the tendrils holding Bills eyes open dart away. It does not let go of Bill, but the eye stalk breaks eye contact, and that is enough to relive the pain and metallic taste just a bit. *Davar begins the search for food again. He starts looking for prey in the forest near the asylum.* It's a long way between Davar's location and the Asylum. Along the way, you see the wall surrounding the town. There's something unusual on top of the wall, but it doesn't seem important. You can either check it out or continue along. Bill uses his hands to attack the second eyeball. He attempts to scratch and crush it. |
