So I just had an interesting thought cross my mind - what if we had our own IRC channel? It's basically like IM except it's for adults and has a degree of respectability and versatility. We could talk in real-time without having to refresh the forum page or forum chatbox. I'd prefer it myself, having enjoyed using it for years. Moderating isn't much more hard than it is here, and we can log the channel if we decide to RP in it a lot. Hell, I play DnD over IRC and am a huge nerd, it's probably worth a shot.
If you vote for establishing one, I can create one on the freenode network and help people connect. You can use a webpage client if you have to, but I highly suggest getting something like a standalone IRC program, or the ChatZilla plugin if you use Firefox (been using it for more than 7 years now myself).
Feel free to vote on the poll either way, and tell me if you want to RP in it or just have a general channel for general talk.
