I send a flash of cold through my HD, attempting to freeze both the ink and the creature. The roots keep growing, trying to penetrate the creature so thoroughly that the holes resemble a second vascular system. I also channel a hole through its flesh straight to outside and immediately flee. I completely remove my HD from the creature, tearing out roots everywhere. Stuck roots simply stop having a physical presence. The creature is riddled with holes, being almost as full of empty space as it is of flesh. Any kind of body structure is heavily damaged and the Egg's structural integrity should be failing.

I promise*One of the crows bites off a piece of the remaining wing. Oddly, it doesn't hurt at all, you only feel a slight pull* And now the mending~*The crows immediately start regurgitating replicates of Cordycep's flesh that seamlessly mesh with the original, mending completely* I hope I have satisfied you |
