Howdy, I like to draw aliens and other strange things a lot so I guess I could post some of the work I did this year,  apologies if the images are a bit big






















annnd saved the best for last:




 anyway, that's all the most possibly tasteful art I have with me right now, I did draw a lot more but this stuff stuck out more.
none of this is in any particular order, in fact I improved a lot over this year so lots of this stuff looks bad compared to some of the rest.
The last image was drawn, all the effects I had achieved in it were through edits in MS paint as well as abusing the contrast sharpener option that Im given when I scan a photo.
I hope these speak a lot about me because I cant really socialize all that well.

Yeah, those three mid images are indeed.
The textures were hand colored, I printed out Uv maps. colored them in, and scanned em back into blender, with a few adjustments.

The only issue with this method is that you have to erase the uv lines that the polygons make, or the model will look like its more "sectioned" into all the little squares and triangles that make it up.

hi there tiny little update while i work on some things and school. I took that really old drawing from earlier and edited it in sai, this particular part of the picture has caught my interest again and again so I decided to post it separately, it's always made me feel mystified...


I've also been trying digital a little more lately thanks to the tablet i got for Christmas I'm not entirely good at it but practice makes perfect.
This is Martha, my inner mosquito-girl child that is precious and important to me.

I revamped the models I did earlier, I might make an animation with them, they also have names:
Vaan: Isle of force.

Viin: the still isle.

aka the stupid carrot i literally cannot stop myself from drawing all the time.

These are all incredibly creative and bizarre! What is your process? Whatever it is, keep doing it.

Thank you! I don't really have much of a set creative process that I really can describe, it's more of a trial and error kind of thing until I produce something that I like, and work up from there, though I do have a general concept that I keep in my mind when designing things. Speaking of which, I finished designing this race a few weeks ago, I based them off color spaces and the sea: 

I haven't though of a name for them yet so right now their proto-name is just "painty-fish".
