*Connie opens the book* August 1st ----------------- Today I checked on the nests again. The ants seemed to be struggling to find food. There doesn't seem to be much of a problem for the other ones. I'll find out what ants eat and then I'll give them some of that. |

Connie: Why would I want to do that to my own dad? Connie: A lot of the bugs don't even eat meat. Anyway: August 17th: I keep giving the bugs food but they're not getting any better. It must be because of the environment. But where else would they live? I thought about the backyard, but it's very hot out there at the moment. I have one more idea, but I'm not sure if I should do it. |

IF THE BUGS ARE REALLY THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU OR WHATEVER FEED THEM ANYTHING YOU CAN FIND. ORPHANS AND SMALL ANIMALS ARE VIABLE SOLUTIONS AS LONG AS THEY ARE FED TO THE ANTS LIVE. August 18: Alright, I've made my choice. These bugs have been some of my only friends since I was a little girl, so I can't just let them all die. I hope this works, but I have no idea if it will. If I survive,I'll write back tomorrow. |
