the sphere lizard pokes its head out of its burrow and then pulls itself out tasting the air with the hairs on its sphere to get a sense of whats going on, primarily looking for food it makes a snuffling noise and heads towards any tasty scents BEES. There is a hive in a nearby tree. They seem fairly inactive, considering how late it is. The sloth grunts and walks away. The 'berries' fly off in the other direction. *.....The Grabber lunges at the cat and devours it. Sorry kitty.* It tastes like cat. Beyond the wall, you see a garden. There's a house there. The lights are off. There is a swingset and a doghouse. Other than that, it's a fairly normal back yard. Looking around, you see other houses and yards, separated by various fences. The Warin tries to make itself look as appetizing as possible The squirrel is not interested. What an ass. A nearby cardinal, however, is. It swoops down and attempts to eat you. The sloth sniffs around for food.

*The Grabber scrabbled at the ground again, to ascertain it's suitability for burrowing* The ground is soft and grassy. The Grass is cut short. The sloth sniffs around for food. There is a bird's nest in a nearby tree. lizzy clibms the tree with ease and chews through the hive eating wax, honey and larvae alike feeling rather sated she decides to wander about and stretch the old legs after a long hibernation You catch an odd scent. There are ten trees arranged in a circle up ahead. There's a dead bird in the center. The Warin allows itself to be eaten. The cardinal falls to the ground, and the Warin burrows out of the bird's stomach. It now has wings and a beak, and is slightly bigger. It flies towards the squirrel. If the squirrel had any concept of the phrase "Well shit." It would be using it right now. It freezes in place.

Sure enough, you find the two hunter's camp. There is a cooler that smells absolutely horrible. Or it would to anything with a sense of smell that thinks raw venison that's been in a box all day smells horrible. The sloth wakes up feeling hungry, it slowly trudges around, looking for food. There is a bush full of berries nearby. These berries are not native to the location and should not be able to grow here... Some kind of corpse materializes in the forest and collapses on the ground. It might have held some shape once, but now it is a rubbery mass of flesh. Part of it seems turned inside-out, and others seem like they were sculpted into shapes they aren't supposed to hold. The corpse flops with a wet, squelchy thud. There is some shuddering inside the corpse, and pockets of gas seem to occasionally burst, spraying the ground with blood. It lies in a puddle of its own fluids. A thin whine can be heard, and suddenly a hole breaks open in one of the less damaged exterior parts. Bone chips and blood spray from the hole, which is maybe an inch across. A dark head emerges quickly, then dives towards the leaf litter. It is followed by a neck, perhaps half the diameter of the head. The neck doesn't stop, meters of the creature pouring out of the wound before it is finally capped with a tail. It is shiny and silent but for the sounds of puckering and shuddering meat. There are two humans searching for something around the perimeter of the Deadlands. One of them steps near you and stops, seemingly oblivious of your presence. "Bill. You're fulla shit. I'm going home." Says the human farthest from you, as he walks back the way he came. "Fine Joel! I'll find that damn buck myself! I'll find it and shoot it and get famous and hang those metal antlers on my wall!" Stammers the human closest to you. The other human has already left. *The Grabber is confused by this, as it usually cannot taste anything. It might ponder why a creature would have the supernatural ability to taste like chicken regardless of compatible senses, if it actually cared enough to ponder such a thing. The Grabber then slams its head against the window to break it open, in order to climb out* You know what I meant, goddammit. You are now outside of the Asylum on the west side. There is a rusty chain link fence running the length of the property. It is topped with razor wire. To the west you can see a dim light in the distance. The Warin wakes up in it's pod. It looks around for any small organisms. There's a squirrel in a nearby tree. it looks at the pod with hesitant curiosity. The long thing moves towards the unsuspecting human, slithering across the ground in a sidewinder pattern, and then up his pants leg. It wraps around his body inside of his clothes and buries its head inside of his armpit.

The sloth shakes the tree. The branches shake and the nest falls. The eggs go splat. The mother bird previously sleeping is pissed, but a tiny harmless bird nontheless. *I continue deeper in the forest, there is nothing of interest here* You see a starving lone wolf approaching the camp, attracted by the scent of the spoiled meat. It searches for a way into the cooler. Suddenly, it stops, and lunges into the bushes. The hunter named Joel is there. The wolf killing and feeding itself on him before he had a chance to aim his gun. After a while of gorging on the poor man, the wolf suddenly gets up and runs off, as if sensing something. There's a dead dude on the ground. missing a few chunks, but otherwise still useful The long thing moves towards the unsuspecting human, slithering across the ground in a sidewinder pattern, and then up his pants leg. It wraps around his body inside of his clothes and buries its head inside of his armpit. "Holy Crap!"You are now in control of Bill. this place is new? lizzy thinks but is happy for the free meal and so wanders over to the bird to smell it its safe to eat The bird is normal. The giant Harvestman spider looming above who's legs looked like thin tree trunks is also pleased at something falling for it's trap. It lunges downward, in attempt to pin Lizzie down with it's body. The Warin tries to kill the squirrel by flying into it with as much force as possible. Yes. That happens. The thing is defenseless and dies like a chump. RIP Squirrel. What a choad.

The drilling scolex digs into the man's arpit, sinking into the flesh. The whine stars up again, and the worm slithers inside of him. He can feel it worming through everything, drilling through muscle and bone. This is exactly as painful as you would imagine. It burrows up the flesh of his throat, coiling through the lips and tongue. Near the end, he feels something break at the base of his neck. He can no longer feel his body at all. But it leaves his brain fully intact. He can only watch as his body, now out of his control, takes two tentative steps forward.

Abokist motions for the Finch to get on his soldier, and begins moving toward the human. The finch obediently climbs onto your shoulder. On the way, you come across the human's discarded backpack. it contains one map, one plastic baggy of granola, three plastic water bottles, two full and one empty, and one windbreaker. You hear the hiker before you see her. "Shit shit shit fucking stupid shitty snakes shit shit fuck shit" She is limping and every so often she grabs at her ankle. It's red, swollen, and bleeding a little bit. She's in no condition to resist you. The sloth rolls over and goes back to sleep. The human gets away. The dog is gone. *The Grabber does not hesitate. With the element of surprise, it lunges towards the creature with blinding speed, pincers extending and closing onto the creature even faster.* It's body is soft and boneless, despite it being able to hold a chimpanzee-like stance earlier. It is not, however, squishy enough to escape your grasp and is now completely at your mercy. Hoping to not cause the creature unnecessary pain, Abokist takes his brim and throws it at the hiker like a flying disc, aiming to decapitate.
