Abokist walks over to the fallen human, catching the returning brim in the process. His beak slowly fades from existence, revealing a jagged mouth, dripping with green slime. He slowly picks up the Human's head, and begins to bite into it viciously, eating the entirety of the brain... www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDyQC0AuWkUAbokist suddenly backs, his head jutting into the air. His hands and arms twitch, as his mouth begins to move. MAGNIFICENT!! What is this world I have stumbled upon? Such beautiful language, such fascinating structure... Ohh, it's fantastic! I need to learn more!! Know more!!! This mesmerizing species, this enthralling culture! I must know. I MUST know! Why do you yield so little to me? Just this language, as well as some tidbits... But no matter. This species is mine! Mine to uplift. To ascend. I will make their gleam so bright, it consumes all worlds! And yet, here I am, isolated in this bitter cold! Oh, how much land there must be to explore! Creatures and people to catalog and control. To dissect and design! And I will have it all.
I'll bury this one... just need to dissect.
Mister Finch! Would you mind keeping watch? I have some work to do.*Abokist opened his chest-box, taking out a variety of surgical tools. he went to work cutting open the dead human, taking note of anatomy all the while.* Mister Finch is terrified. He keeps watch nonetheless. In the human's clothes she has a white smartphone. it's cover is black rubber bedazzled with pink and blue plastic sequins. it is out of power. *On the first day I begin to push out fleshy roots ending in human teeth* The wolf hangs around, seemingly curious. It's finally learned how to open up the cooler and feeds itself on the rotting deerflesh, keeping distance from the growing tree. almost forgetting why it was there in the first place Lizzie darts back to get the bird while the spider is eating. her back bristles twitch nervously she does not like be big spider no matter how tasty it looks The spider haphazardly swipes in your general direction with a leg, bat turns it's attention back to the juicy limbs, allowing you to get to the bird in peace. The sloth looks around for other birds. It's the middle of the night and all birds are sleeping. You can hear an owl somewhere, however. The Warin flies as high as possible and looks around for larger animals There seems to be a large grey thing to the south in the middle of a clearing. and to the west is some humanoid, bird-like figure hunched over the body of a decapitated human. Otherwise most other animals in the area are either hidden or sleeping. *Davar steps forward, toward his kill and the human.* The man backs off. "Relax, buddy... I'm not gonna hurt ya or steal your food... I'm just gonna..." Without warning he lunges forward, grabs the rabbit and tosses it out of the middle of the road. He then awkwardly backpedals towards the car door. *Davar seemingly decides to let the humans go. He Trots back to his cave with his kill clenched in his teeth, and devours it when he gets back. He leaves the bones in the cave. He then steps out and looks around for more prey.*

The sloth begins pulling birds out of their nests and eating them. Birds begin to learn that you are bad news and some of the smarter ones begin to fly away upon your approach. *A several fleshy roots with human teeth burst up to bite the wolf* The wolf yelps and thrashes about, doing it's best to try and struggle away. Warin flies toward grey thing It's a statue in the middle of the nature trail. it looks like a giant misshapen preying mantis, but with no abdomen and thicker legs. Upon finishing dissecting th ehuman, Abokist takes a spade out of his chestbox and begins to prepare a burial. Mister Finch. I am confused by this human concept of "evil." This woman was clearly in great pain, I needed to put her out of her misery, and it would also help me adapt to this world? This dichotomy of good and evil. Do either really exist?Mister Finch is confused. He does not understand all this jibba jabba. He pecks some seeds out of a pinecone. It is truly a simple life, being Mister Finch. *Davar seemingly decides to let the humans go. He Trots back to his cave with his kill clenched in his teeth, and devours it when he gets back. He leaves the bones in the cave. He then steps out and looks around for more prey.* The humans drive away toward the town. They will likely mention you to the locals.

Astounding as always, Mister Finch. Come! Knowledge awaits.
Abokist backtracks to the bag, stuff the smartphone and his tools into his chestbox. He also takes a sample of the woman's DNA in a syringe. He looks at the map.

The sloth masses the bird and eggs into a paste and eats it. Tasty. The Warin begins eating the squirrel. It grows four legs and a hairless tail. It's now a foot long. Other than the sound of a pod somewhere nearby opening up once every few minutes, all is silent and calm as the snowfall begins to become heavier *I land in and cover myself in the flesh* *A flesh cocoon surrounds it and it burrows into the ground* (It will take three days to fully grow) With the other hunter gone, you can grow in peace. The drilling scolex digs into the man's arpit, sinking into the flesh. The whine stars up again, and the worm slithers inside of him. He can feel it worming through everything, drilling through muscle and bone. This is exactly as painful as you would imagine. It burrows up the flesh of his throat, coiling through the lips and tongue. Near the end, he feels something break at the base of his neck. He can no longer feel his body at all. But it leaves his brain fully intact. He can only watch as his body, now out of his control, takes two tentative steps forward. Bill is physically fit and has no deficiencies other than good old fashioned stupidity. He has a single rifle with a small box of ammo in one pocket, a single folding knife with different blades for multiple purposes, and a necklace with dog tags that display his name on them. Other than that, he has nothing of interest on him and the rest of his equipment is back at camp. Hoping to not cause the creature unnecessary pain, Abokist takes his brim and throws it at the hiker like a flying disc, aiming to decapitate. Success. The unaware human's head is cut clean off her shoulders while she is distracted with her ankle. the areas of Lizzie's body that are pinned down shoot off quite violently with a loud popping sound, jets of blue blood coming from them as they are propelled away Lizzie quickly tries to get away as fast as its remaining front left leg and back right leg can carry it The Harvestman seems agitated that most of it's meal has gotten away, but it's an ambush predator and does not give chase. Instead, it just lowers itself and with a pair of unsettlingly human jaws, devours the shed limbs. Bill starts talking to himself in an attempt to get the pitch and timbre of his voice right.

*Davar returns to his cave and gnaws on the bones.* It's begun to snow. Astounding as always, Mister Finch. Come! Knowledge awaits.Abokist backtracks to the bag, stuff the smartphone and his tools into his chestbox. He also takes a sample of the woman's DNA in a syringe. He looks at the map. Abokist's map shows many major tourist attractions and nature trails. The closest the Unknown statue to the southeast and Heinz Asylum to the west. Further to the west is the town of Red Pines. The sloth goes back to bed. Just in time for the sky to get lighter and the sun to begin slowly ascending into the sky. *Two new roots, these two with hands, pry the wolf's mouth apart and try to drag it underground* The wolf's struggles only serve to tire it out more quickly and eventually it give up, going mostly limp. It's a statue in the middle of the nature trail. it looks like a giant misshapen preying mantis, but with no abdomen and thicker legs. After a failed atempt at eating the statue, Warin scuttles up the trail Going far enough up the trail, you find the trail suddenly goes northeast instead of just north. You can see a very dim light in to the north. lizzie quickly eats her prize, the food allowing her limbs to grow back much much faster than they would without but is now feeling rather drained so after she finishes regenerating she heads off in the direction of even MORE delicious smells now hungrier than ever The strongest smells are coming from the west. Though there are some coming from the south. *The Grabber decides to burrow into the ground, and feel for any vibrations, within about a mile.* You are in a town. Albeit, in someone's yard at the edges, but in a town nonetheless. You can feel the occasional car moving. You can sense the occupants in the home nearby, and you can sense the sleeping dog in the doghouse only a few feet away. Bill starts talking to himself in an attempt to get the pitch and timbre of his voice right. After a few tries, you manage to get it right. Bill is a simple man with not much going for him. His disappearance should not arouse much suspicion for several days.
