*Davar returns to his cave and gnaws on the bones.* It's begun to snow. Astounding as always, Mister Finch. Come! Knowledge awaits.Abokist backtracks to the bag, stuff the smartphone and his tools into his chestbox. He also takes a sample of the woman's DNA in a syringe. He looks at the map. Abokist's map shows many major tourist attractions and nature trails. The closest the Unknown statue to the southeast and Heinz Asylum to the west. Further to the west is the town of Red Pines. The sloth goes back to bed. Just in time for the sky to get lighter and the sun to begin slowly ascending into the sky. *Two new roots, these two with hands, pry the wolf's mouth apart and try to drag it underground* The wolf's struggles only serve to tire it out more quickly and eventually it give up, going mostly limp. After a failed atempt at eating the statue, Warin scuttles up the trail Going far enough up the trail, you find the trail suddenly goes northeast instead of just north. You can see a very dim light in to the north. lizzie quickly eats her prize, the food allowing her limbs to grow back much much faster than they would without but is now feeling rather drained so after she finishes regenerating she heads off in the direction of even MORE delicious smells now hungrier than ever The strongest smells are coming from the west. Though there are some coming from the south. *The Grabber decides to burrow into the ground, and feel for any vibrations, within about a mile.* You are in a town. Albeit, in someone's yard at the edges, but in a town nonetheless. You can feel the occasional car moving. You can sense the occupants in the home nearby, and you can sense the sleeping dog in the doghouse only a few feet away. Bill starts talking to himself in an attempt to get the pitch and timbre of his voice right. After a few tries, you manage to get it right. Bill is a simple man with not much going for him. His disappearance should not arouse much suspicion for several days. I search around nearby for some kind of rock.

*I drag the wolf underground and into my mass* *I leave the venison* (tree will be fully grown by the end of tomorrow) There's something... unusual about the wolf. it seems to have some sort of anomalous parasite. Perhaps that's why it was banished from it's pack? *There are too many strong vibrations here. The Grabber decides to retreat a less populated area. They move in the opposite direction from the town, back to the asylum.* Many of the Asylum's windows are shattered. should you enter the office you exited from, you'd find the door splintered apart. Many other creatures have obviously left, but there still might be some inside... The sloth continues sleeping. The day gets brighter and the snow begins to intensify. Abokist begins moving toward the Asylum, making sure Mister Finch is following. The asylum is visible in the distance. The chain link fence is broken and there are tracks of various different creatures all around. Mister Finch obediently follows. I search around nearby for some kind of rock. You find some kind of rock. Rock acquired. More specifically, it's a simple grey rock about the size of Bill's fist. The bottom is moist from it lying in the leaf litter. Beneath it is a single centipede. It stares at you, most likely cursing you with a thousand hells in some ancient centipede tongue for the crime of stealing it's house. Or maybe not. It's just a centipede, afterall. After a short nap, Davar exits his cave and searches for food.* It's lighter now, and you can make out a few tracks in the snow. They look like a heard of deer. Lizzie thinks about heading south and then about heading west without realising it she accidentally tried to walk in both directions at once casing her legs to pop off after waiting for them to grow back she decides to go for the tastiest smell and go west That is adorable. Heading west, you see a large building with a wooden exterior, giving the impression that it is made of logs The 'wood' on the outside is actually just plaster. It has a chain link fence running the length of the property. There's a chimney billowing smoke. The smoke carries the scent of cooking venison. Further examination of the property would reveal a small parking lot with a single vehicle there. Going far enough up the trail, you find the trail suddenly goes northeast instead of just north. You can see a very dim light in to the north .Warin heads towards the light As the morning gets brighter, you lose sight of the light and instead see the smoke. It's a campsite with three tents. The fire is dying out, helped by the snow.

The sloth covers its back with dirt. The dirt helps block out the cold. The Warin looks inside a tent Inside is a sleeping human. Looks pretty cozy. *I absorb the wolf and parasite* *My roots get longer* (Btw I should be getting some random information/memories from the absorbees) From Joel, you aquire knowledge of the area, including where the town is and several local tourist attractions. From the wolf, there' not much information to be had. You do learn various howl, which may be useful for attracting more wolves, though. From the Parasite, you get a glimpse into a different world. It's under water... or some sort of liquid. There's something... Something large. Other parasites swarm around it. It seems to be bashing it's head into something... That's all you get before the memory fades. *Davar lowers his nose to the tracks, sniffs, then begins tracking the herd.* The hoofprints go into a clearing, but the suddenly vanish... In the clearing is a small hill. There is a single young doe standing at the very top of the hill. It's holding it's up as if wounded. It's been standing there completely still for an unusually long time... Enough that is has a good covering of snow on it. Lizzie is hungry after he last encounter and so clambers the fence and heads directly to the tasty smell by climbing into and down the chimney The smoke in Lizzie's face is irritating, but eventually, the chimney leads to a sort of grill placed over the fireplace. On this grill various cuts of fresh meat are cooking. Before you can make a move, however, a pan with eggs comes into view. It seems there's somebody watching over the cooking. Fascinating! Come, Mister Finch, exploration and possible laboratories await!*Abokist heads toward the Aslylum, with a skip in his step. The skips are abnormally wide due to his biology.* You find yourself at the Asylum's front door. It's the easiest way in without climbing anything. It's locked, but a swift tug is all it takes to loosen the lock right off the old wooden doors. You find yourself in a lobby, which leads to a hallway with doors on each side. At the end of the hall is a splintered door leading to an office of some sort. You can hear something moving around somewhere, but it's hard to pinpoint just where... I use the rock to bash Bill's leg in order to make it look like he tripped and hurt his leg in a minor way. Then I place the rock back over the centipede. I start to limp back in the direction the humans came from. The centipede thanks you. Probably. As you make your way across the deadlands, there's an ominous booming noise in the distance. Closer, there's a high-pitched whining noise approaching from your right. The fog seems extraordinarily thick...
