This is the thread fore the lore and worldbuilding regarding the roleplay setting! Dump connections in the roleplay here.
it will also be used as a place how to link already-existing characters with the upcoming main narrative.

First I'll be making a small chart of the three Gods that a large amount of the conflicts have been unwittingly based around. Might update it
Chaos - Ahriman or Angra Mainyu
Shards:
Enigma/Eris - Evolution/Willpower
Loki - Cold/Entropy
Apep - Heat/Calamity
Set - Dark/Anarchy
Kronos - Time/Change
Other Subjects of Note:
Destroyed the other two gods by shattering their "realms", mind and order.
Destroyed self after discovering it had become orderly in trying to defeat the Clown Zone.
Order - ? ? ?
Shards:
Ehye - Light/Control
? ? ?
Mind - ? ? ?
Shards:
The Mind Weaver - Life/Emotion
The Void-Crawler - Grime/Scheming
The Eternal Spectral - Psionics/Engineering

Additionally, would there be like...true names for the Shard-Gods? Like we have for the Great Primordial Entities? Or do you think that would be far too complicated?

Suggestion for Order God Name: Forseti, Ma'at, Dike. Forseti sounds good, since I love good old Nordic naming. Additionally, would there be like...true names for the Shard-Gods? Like we have for the Great Primordial Entities? Or do you think that would be far too complicated? Of course. I've been thinking of them for a while now since i loved coming up with the names for the schemers (Especially The Eternal Spectral).

'Consequence'- Real name unknown. Home zone- Xward Origin- Before and Somewhere Else
'Consequence' is an eldritch being of unknown origin and power, wrapped in mystery. The one of the few things known for sure about him is that he, for reasons unknown, inhabits Xward. Whether or not Xward is a facet of of 'Consequence' or a separate entity of his own is unknown. He is also a self admitted liar, unlike most beings of high power he mostly lies about himself, he could very easily be fabricating a boast to poke fun at a being he has previously crossed paths with. He has existed before this existence, and lived in a different one. A good comparison is an invasive species, something in this reality already does what he does but has something to control it, 'Consequence' on the other hand does not have it's limits. This might not be the first existence he's been in.
He is unfazed and apathetic to every powerful being he has met, and his words imply that nothing that he has any knowledge of can actually harm him.
He has used his powers to prevent Xward from gaining friends even though Xward could possibly be older than most zones. Gobtraz was able to sneak past this by being unpleasant but having an untimely (fake) death cemented him as a friend before Xward had seen too much unpleasantness.
The Veil of Memes- 'Consequence' has somehow caused memetic beings to leak into this existence, possibly due to annoyance at Meredith and Mercedes

Okay Petrichor, I've written up lots for the Primal Investigator - all three forms are done! I will post that tomorrow, all being well! Additionally, I have some ideas about Mothy mc motherson too! I'm thinking *paper moth*. In any case I'll write up something about that too.
One thing...could you post what you have come up with for the Aural Usurper, please? Personality and looks: I need it to think of the gift, and also how The Mind Weaver will interact with them! Thank you in any case! It's gonna rock

The Aural Usurper was one of the first shards to break off from the Mind God, and as such, the "big sister" to ones such as Spectral and Crawler, though of course it's up to you if she's older than Weaver! She is the embodiment of Ambition and Power (Just general power, being the jack of all stats of the Primordial Shards. She has no real specialty but is pretty good at everything). She is considered to be the ultimate conqueror because her subtle ability is that any Zone-wide effects will start to work for her instead of against her.
She is very imperialistic, ruling the Empire of [Unintelligible], though all other Zones simply refer to her forces as "the Imperials" since they have no flair. Her regime is known for taking slaves out of Zones that can;t put up a proper fight, colonizing ones that did fairly okay, and turning the inhabitants of Zones that put up a great fight into her personal military. She rules from her throne of Red Seethe-Salt inside a Zone simply known as the True Slate, an endless desert full of ruins, where she put up a fight against a powerful commander of the Forces of Chaos with her sisters and managed to completely destroy that sector of the Chaos Legion. It lead to the destruction of the entire zone, and almost all the followers of Mind within, but ultimately proved that even without re-uniting to form the Goddess once again, the shards of Mind are far stronger than the lackeys of Chaos.
She is also known for taking Brides from Zone's that simply surrender and become vassal states, and is fiercely protective of them, her part of the war with the Zeren coming from a Zeren consuming one of them during a raid. She is incredibly pissed, and was already quite unstable beforehand, and probably does not think kindly of Weaver falling to Ehye and parting from the Sisters for so long, as it's what lead the formerly-united family to depart from each other.
Her soldiers and she herself always impale the heads of their victims on pikes, and she prefers fighting in her humanoid form than in her monstrous form, as it presents more of a challenge.
Even without the former unity of the sharded family, she is still considered the de-facto "leader" of those that still remained in sight after Weaver fell.

Okay so first thoughts: That's cool as shit. Second thoughts, about the age? It is established that The Mind Weaver was present for the dawn of the first star. However that doesn't mean the start of everything, obviously. Who would we say created the stars? I know that one of the Shard-Gods has the aspect of fire? But it could be that the Aural Usurper created a lot of that, with 'power'. Perhaps the clowns found a way to survive the reset? In any case, I reckon Weaver would be the second eldest, having created the first life, seeding it across the multiverse and leaving it to grow and change, including creating several in the image of her and her sisters. She would have been more interested in her art than in conquest and battle, frustrating The Aural Usurper, but she would participate when it was important, fielding vast armies of specialised war creatures against their enemies, and assisting with elaborate mental weaves to distract, convert, terrify, and kill, as well as more conventional psionic combat and mind infiltration.

I think that the best explanation could be that Stars were created when Aural took down a Chaos Commander of Flame, causing a massive explosion that resulted in the creation of the various types of Stars across all the zones. This explosion also further-damaged the already crumbling Mind God, creating Weaver! And yeah, I agree with just about everything in the second half, though naturally Weaver would have to participate in the big fight against the Chaos Commander, as the soldiers of Chaos were everywhere in the True Slate! I mean, even Spectral and Void, the two sleaziest scumbags out of all the sisters did their part.

I mean I have said in my notes about The Primal Investigator that she was somewhat close to The Grand Praetor, though The Grand Praetor was irritated by them on occasion. I think that the Grand Praetor would have come third? And the investigator last, cause, child. What do you think?

The Grand Praetor represents archival, and holds the memories of the Shattered God, although even she can't PROPERLY understand them. She's also fiercely loyal to Aural. That's all I have on her, though, so feel free to note anything else for her. I think what you offered would be interesting. Perhaps the Schemers tainted the Investigator's innocence in some way, leading the Praetor to completely disown them? And this is what soured their relationship so?

Hmm...my reasoning was more mundane: that The Primal Investigator liked looking through all the memories and knowledge within The Grand Praetor's Tower of Knowledge (awaiting cooler name, like The Infinity Tower or something), but they couldn't really understand it all and caused a lot of nuisance, and The Grand Praetor would generally entertain her and help her for a while, but would inevitably throw her out after a while, once The Primal Investigator became too irritating and disruptive to deal with, but she would always welcome her back eventually. Your plan could still fit, depending on the nature of the innocence loss thing - any ideas...?

I think that sounds personally much cooler,a nd we can come up with a different thing that tainted Investigator and the Schemers' relationship. Perhaps the Schemers wanted to get a spy into the Tabula Rasa, and had Aural make a tiny creature with her life powers (Good, but inferior to Weaver's, as per her Power element) and told Investigator that the center of the Tabula Rasa zone was the little creature's home, and it had been taken away. They also bribed her with promise of adventure. Sound good?
