Can I also ask...would Theresa be on par with say, Angra? Or more like, more powerful than a Shard, less powerful than a full Primordial Entity? Because I think the former would be more sensible. Or, make more sense. Give the Primordial Entities that 'unmatchable power' thingy. I'd say she's only about a notch stronger than the average shard, meaning if they group they could still easily take her (when she's possessing somebody, mind, she doesn't have a physical existence), but not just one-on-one. As for her caring enough, Theresa is immensely petty. It's part of Pride, after all, and she's especially proud of her murderplanet, and naturally isn't fond out copycats. Ah, that is exactly what I was thinking, nice! And okay, gotcha!

Ideas for the Mind-Shards: Part I – Sister of Curiosity, The Primal InvestigatorFirst Thoughts: Okay, so, ant-like! With the human form being a small child with no mouth, I believe? I can get behind that, small children + curiosity! I was thinking that for their other forms, they could be slightly different. I would think that they also pay more visits to different zones and places than most of the others, being curiosity. History + Role: The Primal Investigator's boundless curiosity served the Mind-Shards well, and they served many roles: reconnaissance, combat, and interrogation were all things that they thoroughly enjoyed. They are somewhat undisciplined, to the chagrin of The Aural usurper, being the last Mind-Shard to gain awareness, but their effectiveness and usefulness is grudgingly admitted by all the Sisters of the Mind. They are bored easily, and as such were often away from the others on little 'excursions', but they always came back, usually with news of a suitable new world, enemy stronghold, or secret weapon. Sometimes, however, they would visit The Grand Praetor in her archives, poring over endless volumes of knowledge and secrets, even if they often didn't understand it, until they were eventually kicked out by The Grand Praetor once again, as was routine. After the fall of The Mind Weaver, an encounter with the Tabula Rasa changed her – she became fascinated and delighted with the idea of inflicting pain and suffering, disturbing and surprising her sisters – even the Schemers, who had indirectly caused her change, after sending her in the direction of the Tabula Rasa. The Grand Praetor, usually tolerant of The Primal Investigators new fascinations or obsessions, was horrified at this perversion of the pursuit of knowledge, and eventually closed the Tower to her beloved sister for good, mourning their lost innocence, and demanding that she only come back if she can lose her most recent, morbid, obsession. Confused and hurt, but still filled with the same curiosity, The Primal Investigator left her sisters, and now travels the multi-verse, always searching for new things, new delights and sensations to satisfy her curiosity, and taking the most interesting ones back with her to her very own 'Palace of Discovery', an enormous castle of scrap and baubles, that incorporates features of both the Tabula Rasa and The Grand Praetor, in the centre of an enormous zone filled with all sorts of collected objects with varying values and usefulness. She leaves many tales in her wake, of awe and admiration, of cruelty and terror. But regardless of the feelings of others, and heedless of the strange concept of 'morality' The Primal Investigator cheerfully searches, 'experiments', and discards, endlessly. Primary Glamour: A young, androgynous child, with long red hair, floor length at the back, that often covers their face, and sometimes, out of the corner of your eye, it appears to move by itself, thin tendrils searching at the area around it. If their hair is not covering their face, then it can be seen that they possess no mouth whatsoever, just smooth skin where one should be. Despite this, they have no trouble speaking, even if the source of their voice seems to come from random parts of their body. Their skin is dark brown, and their eyes are a bright, glittering yellow. It is difficult to focus on them, and their proportions are difficult to pin down, seeming thin and gangly to one observer one moment, but short and squat to another observer in another moment. Their voice is appropriately childlike and endearing, but can be unsettlingly void of emotion and morality. In any case, people are drawn to them, usually with a wish to either protect or harm this strange child. Neither will usually turn out well - the Primal Investigator's desire for petty knowledge and discovery is never extinguished, and such unlucky individuals are usually victims of horrifying experimentation or torture at the hands of the Innocent God. Secondary Glamour: With the primary glamour lifted, a glimpse of The Primal Investigator's true self is seen. In this form, they appear as an enormous red ant, still smaller than the other Shard-Gods. Their antennae are great in number, sprouting off mostly from their head, except where the eyes are located, but there are other, smaller antennae all over their body, constantly twitching and moving and searching the area around it. They are highly prehensile, and are capable of extending many times their length. The lack of any mouth is noticeable still, being replaced by yet more antennae. The random origin of their voice is still present, also. The changing proportions are far more apparent in this form, with The Primal Investigator seeming almost lopsided at times, as they contort in unnatural ways. True Form: As the last of the glamour is stripped away, the horrifying visage of unrestrained curiosity is revealed. The Primal Investigator is comprised of millions upon millions of ants, crawling, and flying and searching at all times. The swarm is arranged in the shape of an enormous ant, as per the second form, constantly shifting and changing. The many antennae are still present, but they are shown to be made out of hundreds of the tiny insects, clinging together with unnatural strength, moving and undulating in unison to scan the surroundings constantly. Where the head of the ant should be, is a humanoid upper body with the proportions and appearance of a young child, if magnified in size. This child has a similar appearance to the The Primal Investigator's primary form, but it too is disturbingly different. It's skin is leathery and shiny in places, and where there was once long red hair, tendrils of crawling carapaces hang, writhing and chittering as they endlessly search. The eyes of the child are now gone, with similar ant-tendrils pushing out through the empty, glowing eye sockets, providing greater information than any eye ever could. Whereas the mouth was absent in their first form, it is present here, but not in any traditionally usable state. A single large tentacle of swarming ants protrudes from the orifice, but this one is different from the others. It is full of enormous soldier ants, and unnaturally large jaws surround the outside of the tentacle, with many more within it, constantly gnashing and biting, and dripping nightmarishly painful venom. The unworldly appendage flails and spins, like an acidic, flexible chainsaw, ready to slice and cut and burn and kill, all in the name of Curiosity. In order to speak, they can form mouths from anywhere on its body, and the same childlike and innocent voice can be heard, questioning everything, and giggling in delight as it slowly carves up another of its discoveries. Nice! You did I great job, not really much else I can add.

Nice! You did I great job, not really much else I can add. Hey, Petrichor, was thinking. Would 'Emotion' be more in fitting with The Mind Weaver's theme? I was thinking so...not to mention, I believe the Eternal Spectral is all about innovation and engineering, so there would be some overlap if we kept it how it was. In fact, I think that 'Emotion' should be The Mind Weavers Conceptual Aspect.

And you don't have to if it's too much trouble, but could you like, write up some appearance and lore for the Schemers? I mean I was planning on doing the same thing for The Mind Weaver, so I thought it would just be neater if we could info on all of them here? Again, not imperative!

Do not worry, I did not mean anytime soon really, just when you can be bothered. I was all character designed out once I finished The Primal Investigator yesterday. The Proper Consensus (AKA TPC, 00, Infinity,)
"All must become one, or all must become nothing"
The Proper Consensus is a being made of an innumerable amount of minds fused into one vast, corrupt intelligence. Neither good nor evil, {But still a huge dickhead} TPC wishes for peace throughout all of existence. Of course, it's definition 'peace' is to either absorb everything, or bully into submission {and eventually absorb} anything that proves to be of no threat. Claiming it believes everything in existence to be equal, It sees itself as a Proper being, considering anything made of non-sentient matter to be inferior. It's self-righteous crusade "to become one with everything and make everything one." is it's excuse for absorbing and devouring anything and everything. Matter, concept, god, or man alike.
It is constantly searching out and absorbing entire pieces of existence. To accomplish this, it uses Subsidiaries; Parts of itself that monitor and sometimes control it's Units. {More on Units in the character info thread} Each Unit and subsidiary is tethered to TPC by a conceptual link. These links allow TPC complete control of it's subjects. Without these links, The various Units and Subsidiaries will have the entire range of TPC's powers at their disposal, as well as the free will to overcome TPC's commands. More to be added as the plot progresses.

Sister of Emotion, The Mind Weaver
"WRITHE IN TERROR, LESSER BEINGS, FOR YOU FACE THE MAJESTY OF THE MIND WEAVER!" - The Mind Weaver, every fucking day
History + Role: The second shard to be awakened, The Mind Weaver, back when the Mind-Shards worked together as a family, was always reclusive, preferring to spend long lengths of time shut away, creating her 'artwork': weaving minds, bodies, and emotions, creating new life, be it dangerous, beautiful, or just plain abstract, almost all of them connected to her via a psychic link, becoming integrated into the Great Mind Web as soon as they gained consciousness. She would still speak with her sisters, whenever 'the musssssssse' had left her – in particular, she was the sister who most closely associated with The Eternal Spectral and The Void-Crawler, perhaps partly because of their shared nature as family outcasts, and partly because of the mind games that were mutually entertaining. Regardless, they maintained a (mostly) friendly rivalry, with occasional hints of actual fraternal affection, in between the constant backstabbing. Despite her usual disinterest with war and conflict, whenever The Aural Usurper managed to drag her onto the battlefield to actually do something useful for a change, she proved her mettle, meeting foes with legions of her creations, and powerful psionic powers. She also took this opportunity to test new emotions upon her foes, and indeed, horrifying violation of the mind was something of a speciality that The Mind Weaver prided herself on. She had a bad habit of passive-aggressively creating excessively stupid or irritating examples of life, created in the image of those who upset or angered her. This was an inverse of the beautiful gifts she would give to her family, to serve as peace offerings, and mollifications. In this way, she was something of a peacemaker within her family, serving to convince her sisters to forgive one another, with or without a heavy dosage of emotional blackmail/glamour.
Due to her reclusive nature, The Mind Weaver was targeted by the unusually powerful shard of the Order God: Ehye, and was forced to attempt to seal him within her considerable mind. However, the seal was unable to be completed, and the minds of the two beings were painfully merged, into the weakened perversion of both souls, the entity that called itself The Voice Of Reason and Clean. This rocked the balance and closeness of the Mind-Shards, and many of them soon parted ways, heading out into the universe to find their own path. Only The Aural Usurper and The Grand Praetor remained, and The Voice of Reason and Clean was confined to a single zone, until such a time came that they would be able to separate the two minds.
Primary Glamour: A young adult, female humanoid. They are taller than average, but not abnormally so, and they have unnaturally pale and shiny skin - completely hairless all over, and covered in odd purple tattoos. Their eyes do not have a single definite colour, and if one is not paying attention to them, it can appear as if there is a disconcertingly greater number of them than there should be. looking into them causes various emotional distresses, usually uneasiness and paranoia, but it varies from entity to entity, and depends upon their mental state. Regardless, these effects can increase in magnitude to a debilitating level, at The Mind Weaver's behest. Her limbs are wiry but strong, and her hands have eight, long, many-jointed fingers, each. One gets the impression that this humanoid possesses more limbs than she appears to, and often objects will simply be manipulated, with witness’s memories being hazy as to the specifics of how this was so. Her incisors are remarkably pointed and predatory. Her voice is generally low, with what could be termed an unsettlingly seductive quality to it, but when angered or otherwise distressed, it rises to painfully shrill and shrieking levels. Whenever she doesn't need to appear even slightly human, but a humanoid form is advantageous, The Mind Weaver will appear far more arachnoid, with visible multiple arms, additional eyes, and often, her lower body will be replaced by a many-legged spider body.
Secondary Glamour: Growing bored of pretences, The Mind Weaver shifts into a form closer to her unrestrained self. In this form, she appears as a huge spider, with acid yellow chitin and a pattern that mimics a face on the top of their abdomen, which mimics whatever emotion she is feeling most strongly at the time, changing when focus is not upon it. Looking at this pattern causes the same effects as looking into The Mind Weaver's eyes, but with increased severity, to the point of causing permanent mental damage if The Mind Weaver increases it to high enough levels. Six arachnoid eyes adorn the front of her cephalothorax, pitch black, and shining dangerously. More unsettling than this, however, is the large, anthropoid eye, located on the centre of their head. Its iris shines a deep purple, and stares with unblinking menace, directly into the mind, pinpointing weaknesses: fear, love, addiction, sadness – no emotion or memory is sacred to The Mind Weaver, and no-one is safe.
True Form: They retain their arachnoid composition, but enlarged to an even more unnatural size. Their exoskeleton no longer has a definitive colour, or at least, not one that can be perceived, and is studded with multitudes of soulless eyes, from many different species At any time, these can raise themselves free of the carapace, floating under their own power, to observe and to use The Mind Weavers emotional domination effect. Squirming, fern-like patterns cover The Mind Weaver, that burn with a beautiful purple luminescence. Many chitinous limbs sprout from their cephalothorax; a variable number, but usually, there are four pairs of legs, and a pair of pedipalps. These pedipalps terminate in a pair of disturbingly human-like hands, albeit with 8 fingers on each hand, that slowly seep a feather-light, silvery silk from the fingertips. The six largest, original eyes now glow with the same eldritch light as the odd patterns, and can also burst forth from their setting in The Mind Weavers head, being held on the end of long, undulating tentacles, and contained within a radial, leech-like mouth. This mouth bristles with needle teeth, and it is used to perform many of The Mind Weaver's more invasive manoeuvres.

The Fanfic Demon is an unknown entity who has lived through the rise and fall of universes. She claims her "shipping" is what brought the cosmic forces together.
Takes on the attributes of the modern human type that gives her most power. She draws great strength from terribly written romances and other struggles, particularly against established characters.
Her primary magic attacks will be Badficomantic in source. Her spells may be ignored, may be fully embraced, or may be forgotten until they prove true. She has sources of deeper, secret magics, which have allowed her to survive in dramatic, apocalyptic situations as though they were no more than another little game.
She is not related to the Shards. In an old universe, she was a free-form, amorphous being of just "evil", until something happened that thoroughly set her down this particular path.
She can zone-shift as easily as an insect can scuttle into a hole. If she has taken interest in someone, she will be able to perceive them from a very, very long way, and sometimes take a moment to interfere.
The realm of the Fanfic Demon is crystalline sugar spires glittering brightly, curved into shelves to hold the worst of her creations. Books, drawings, fics, and little figurines. Do the figurines represent her interests, or are they all that remains of people in whom she's invested simply too much fascination?
She is of love and madness. The chaotic, roiling, joyful and sparkly thoughts within her mind prevent much effective psionic attack. Such an attack would more likely result in the attacker coming under her influence, into the pink text and the kawaii, and we all know what happens then.

okay I'm gonna post the next one sequentially...cause It is trickier and I am sleepier.
Ideas for the Mind-Shards: Part III – Sister of Archival, The Grand Praetor
Primary Glamour: A tall, heavily built woman, very vaguely Asian, but with no specific features that would allow their origins to be identified. She is wrapped in a great, ostentatious fur coat, with and underlying fabric that seems to gleam in certain lights. In contrast with her powerful build and heavy coat, an enormous scarf is wrapped around her neck, long enough to trail down her back, but feather light, fluttering even when no wind is present. She appears to wear a similarly gaudy hat, with two large feathers adorning it, but closer inspection reveals the 'feathers' to twitch and move under the own power, constantly. Their eyes are dark, inhumanly so, and through being looked at by them, one feels a sensation of helplessness, as if they were an insect being pinned down for uncaring inspection. This overwhelming feeling occurs even when viewed through The Grand Praetor's large, face obscuring sunglasses, which she is almost always seen wearing. Another item that is always seen with them is a small pocket diary, somehow filled with far more information than it should be. Her voice is powerful and commanding, and sharp with intelligence, but with a faint background 'flutter'.
Secondary Glamour: An imposingly large moth. It has two enormous, bulbous eyes, that cover almost the entirety of its face, and millions of words and characters of billions of languages constantly swim and whirl within them. Their body is entirely covered in down, except from its thick, muscular limbs, which are shining onyx. They have six fluttering wings, each one comprised of thousands upon thousands of pages, full of knowledge from an assortment of different cultures and languages. They speak with many voices, and a loud buzzing accompanies their speech. Even when not communicating, an uncountable amount of voices can be heard, muttering and buzzing seemingly random facts and trivia. From their curled up proboscis, a black ink constantly drips. When this is ingested, the victim is forced to speak only the truth. Using their proboscis, The Grand Praetor can extract information and knowledge from an entity, in a process that is usually fatal.

A question guys: How far does these gods reach extend? All of these seem very-matter-heavy in their conceptual basis, and especially since their primary glamours are very close to human forms. They seem very grey-zone centric in everything they do, and I can't imagine that their reach extends outside of the Grey supercluster. As for the mind-weaver, creating all life seems rather off if she is primarily matter-based, considering that there is life in almost all zones. How could she put that there if she is confined to matter?

Pumpkinzoner biology:
Male pumpkinzoners bodies consist of 2 distinct parts: a humanoid body covered in light absorbing fur and a jack o' lantern head. their bodies are filled with seedclusters that function as pseudo organs and pumpkin guts that hold everything in place as well as serving other unknown purposes. Fully grown male pumpkinzoners are roughly 2x as tall as humans.
female pumpkinzoners bodies seem to be a single part: a Jack o' lantern body carried around by a set of large insect-like legs. Females are slightly larger than the size of human heads most of their lives but grow massively during the mating process the largest being the queen of the race jacks mother Q'uell
both genders are capable of producing ichor although females create much larger quantities than males. pumpkinzoners are born without carves and are given them by their parents if they survive the initial birthing process which involves blindly fighting other young for survival
Pumpkinzoner culture:
pumpkinzoners have a deeply religious culture with a single unified religion surrounding a figure known as the "uncarved one" who was supposedly the first being of their culture as well as the creator of the families that would go on to be the ruling class of pumpkinzoners (the 3 in order from least to most powerful being: smoke, crystal, and flame)
the entire race is ruled by 3 families that form the monarchy these being the smoke, crystal/sugar, and flame families each one said to hold a gift from the uncarved one the last breath of the uncarved one is held by the smoke family, the uncarved ones heart (encased in clear sugar being held by the crystal family and the blood of the ultimate evil being held in parts by the members of the flame family.
