"I've heard about ressurection, but apparently the ability to perform it is rather rare." Yes, well you're meeting the master of it! Usually I bind the will of the person who is resurrected to Abon, but not before letting them know, first... but this...
I was on my way, to reap a god of murder on her home planet, when I saw her, plummeting fromt hat apartment building. Out of curiosity, I decided to see what her memories were, what her life was, in her final moments, and I had discovered thusly: She was homosexual, and suffered for it, all her life, after it was discovered. The more she suffered, the more depressed she became, and the more brutal attacks on her increased, until it culminated in piano teacher drugging her... and... I won't speak further than that. Point was,s he was massively upset by this world, and the "insurmountable climb" required to march to the top of, no matter where you start. This experience changed her into a dreamer, and after convincing her lover to murder everybody who wronged her, she locked herself in her room, just letting herself be absorbed by her dreams, until she finally decided to come toppling down.
A sad story, yes, but usually not enough for me to resurrect for free... until I noticed something. She had the Brand, and anybody with the Brand has the potential to become Abon's reincarnation. I knew I had to resurrect her, to facilitate her ambition and desire to make the world a better place. To give her hope, so that she might one day do what she had wanted, back then. This brand thing, what's it look like? How do you get it? Is it just a thing you're born with?

Six checkered blocks, black and white, takes the form of a marking somewhere on your body, and you usually become obsessed with it after a while, to the point of wearing clothing with it on it. Their dreams need to be crushed, and be flung into the bleakest suffering...
If this happens, within the Outside, the Ots, servants of Abon, Wards of Dreams, will appear, and offer them a chance to save themselves, their dead friends, and ascend into a greater hope. I seek this to happen.

I'm glad your organization never found me when I was alive. I fit the profile all right, female, human, plagued by...various kinds of adversity. They used to beat me in school for speaking my own language: that was how they taught us English. That was the policy. Ha. But nobody ever cursed me with further suffering or took special pains to push me into the reaches of despair. I appreciate that.

Doesn't make me less glad not to have encountered more trauma, but at least you play by the rules you set.

"The person I was referring to didn't seem to have any brand on their body, but there was something else unusual about them." Oh?"The thing about her was, she seemed to be undead, as evidenced by her rotting skin and blank white eyes, but she had an odd fascination for insects. In fact, there were multiple colonies of insects living in her body. She even appears to know and name each one of them, and she pets them like one would a kitten, before kissing them on a place which I think is the cheek, but it's hard to tell when they're so small."

Shape-changing abilities Dreamers can adapt into themselves, within their dreams. Some can do things,s ome cannot. Every dreamer has a "wepon effect", the best weapont hey could ever used.
The Director has a knife, Rust has a pipe, I have a shovel.
